God isnt lonely, He lacks nothing, He is GOD.
You are right He lacks nothing. However, He created man because He was lonely. He wanted fellowship. When I wrote this He was speaking to me about relationship...so many lack relationship and fellowship with HIM, they accept HIS work on the cross as ..."fire insurance"..but never really fellowship with HIM.

Deb - I totally understand what you're saying. In the 80's there was a popular song called - "I Miss My Time With You"...about how we are so busy doing HIS work, we sometimes forget to spend time with God - and He misses us.

wow, that was awesome. God has been challenging me recently to think of him as a friend, a person who has feelings too. I mean, if I treated friends the way I have treated God, they would be really hurt, and yet we somehow think God can just deal with it cause he's God. I guess he can, but is that an excuse to trample all over him? Not at all.
Once again, that really made me think.
btw, this is Charis's friend who came with her to the prayer meeting the first time. And I'd love to have a youth prayer and intercession time sometime. We should set it up. c ya around. God Bless!
