I don't exactly know how to express what I am feeling in words. I am soooooo frustrated with people right now. I am sooooo disappointed in people right now. I am sooooo disappointed in myself right now for feeling like I do!
When on God's green earth will we learn that God has HIS timing, HIS purpose, HIS people, HIS word, HIS work to do and accomplish, and get our stinkin' minds off from around it and stop trying to figure it out and dictate what we think?! When will we allow God to move in HIS sovereignty in this city without "trying to make it happen"? If we, as the Body of Christ would just be the true worshippers that God wants us to be .... and step out in faith believing....then GOD .... not "my church" or "my pastor" or "this prophet (ess)" or "this program" or "this persons tape series"....it is about RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD PEOPLE! Having clean hands and a pure heart!
Worship the ONE TRUE GOD IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH!
OOOOOOHHHHHHH....uuuuuuggggh!
Did I mention that I was frustrated and disappointed? hmmm?
Help me Lord....I love YOU Lord...I can't imagine how you feel sometimes. My heart is breaking....no matter what I will worship YOU...just because of who YOU are....simply...because of who YOU are.

I do believe that you have hit on something Deborha! If we all could just "be still and know that He is God" life would be so much easier!
It is hard not to get frustrated like this at times; especially when you have a vision of what it is the Lord is trying to do and where He is trying to take us. IMHO the problem so often is that people get a good case of religion and they are lacking on the relational side of their walk with God. Religion is doing the same thing over and over and over, and any change just messes the daylights out of a religious person and they will do anything (and I mean anything) to get their relgion back on track.
Many people have learned the art of control so well that when their religion starts getting messed up, then they say the right things, "Circle the Wagons" (see my blog post from 9/27/05)and either drive out the pastor or the "new" people from the church. The devil has so deceived these folks that they actually believe they are doing the will of the Lord and protecting "their" church.
UGH! OIY! and ARGH! is all I have to say!
God is about to move in Galesburg in a way that HE has never moved before...and I just pray that we can keep our "selves" out of it!
I know that I know that I know, that HE has HIS eye on this city and this people...HE has been waking me up more frequently to pray...I know what HE has shown me...we need to provide a place for HIS presence to dwell...we need to be worshipping HIM...not the movement of HIM, and certainly not " how are we going to contain it when it comes". We can't contain it (revival)...we can only move in HIM and with HIM...
Sometimes I wonder if I am all messed up...it seems so simple to me. Let God BE GOD! And worship HIM because HE IS.

AMEN, DEBORHA, AMEN!!!!thae last night and today i have felt something disturbing me in my spirit, cant pinpoint it but probably ties in with what your feeling ,if we hold on just a little loger , and wait on God and HIS timeing , Hes Gonna blow our minds with what hes gonna do!!!!
