Hello...this is a picture of my mother when she was 17. I have been scanning our family's old pictures and then I plan to make videos of them for each family member. Mom is in her 70's now and has been extremely ill recently. She is in the hospital even as we speak. She has been there for three days...had an MRI and Bone Scan yesterday (full body) and the doctors are telling us that they don't have the results yet ! Hmmm? It is difficult for me to keep my cool as I am in the medical profession and know that things can take a while. But, she has been in for 3 days now and hasn't improved much...it's a mystery, I guess. Her name is Watha Juanita. She is 2/3 cherokee indian. She goes by Juanita. Please pray for her.
Thanx and God bless...

hiya Deborha, praying for your mom! i know its frustrating to wait for answers, going through the same with both my parents!! but waiting produces patients(sp?) right??!!!...........God grant us patients ..BUT HURRY!!!
Been praying Deb... how is she?
Don't really know anything yet! The pain is subsiding because of the meds that she is on; however, she has been very nauseous and is having difficulty keeping anything down. It is probably the meds! ;p[
The doctors thought she could go home on Sunday but her blood pressure went up to 220/125. OIY!
I appreciate your prayers...things happen when people pray! I believe in the power of prayer. You know, if you'd like to visit her she would probably like that. She mentioned how nice it was that you were there for her during her husband's illness and subsequent death. She is in St Mary's in room 312. God Bless you and yours.

I guess I should relay that mom has been diagnosed with fibromyalgia for the last 10-11 years. Now, the doctors are saying that she has probably had Rheumatoid arthritis but the prednisone (ugh!) that she has been on for NINE YEARS has masked this auto-immune disease and its "manifestations". Only until a specialist started weaning her off the prednisone recently did they (the doctors) realize that she
may have had this for quite some time. So...she had some severe 'break-through' pain and was admitted to the hospital for dizziness, hypertension, nausea, and pain. Poor thing ...she told me that these are not her golden years, but, her rusty years! I am believing that God can make them Golden. She deserves it ..she raised 5 of us by herself...she is tough! She has inspired me in so many ways. Enough said...
Hi Deborhha,
I was diagnosed with fibromyliga a few moths ago. I have a picture of my mom at the same age. She looks so cute; just like your mother does. She is 93 now and has had 10 children and has been alone/ or should I say been widowed the last year and a half, she misses daddy terabley.(sorry I am typing in the dark). We all took care of him at home and he died in her arms do I guess that was good. She is having hip replacement surgery this morning and it does scare us all to death. If any thing happens to her,she will die at home with us careing for her just like we did daddy.
Makes me want to cry just talking about it....I love my parents. I feel like a big babby, What would I do without my mom? I miss my daddy so much, I am 44 years old why should I be such a kid?Tammy
Sorry-Mom is 83-typing in the dark !LOL,her mother was 103 when she died and still living at home alone. LOL Sorry mom!
Mom was discharge from the hospital yesterday. She is still very weak and nauseous. Thanx for your concerns and prayers for her.
Our next step will be to take her to my sisters in Minnesota. She lives about 40 minutes from Mayo Clinic in Rochester. First, she needs to gain a little strength, her MD needs to get records together and make referrals. God bless you all ... continue to pray...He is able to above abundantly, above all that we can ask ...
